When I move my location,
My world starts looking different,
But what life actually is?
I believe those who do not return loose all their nests and paths and saunter on a lost journey.
So I want to be be like a tree,
Stay grounded
Stay connected with my roots,
My leaves might change color,
but my roots are the same.
With love π

Beautifully written and with a calming message in a restless world.
I have moved physically but always feel I know my roots deeply.
Like the crown of the tree we reach out and paint the world in the colours that we feel right.

Beautifully written and truthful. My roots will always be in Indiana where I grew up. I spend a lot of time traveling the country and everything changes along the way. My roots will always be the same. They made me who I am today.

Funny, I never desired to be rooted, but situations dictated a change. I miss my lost journey. Finding roots caused me to lose much of what made me, me.
As humans we are all so different.

I also always prefer change’s in my life and that’s what my life is…. continuously changing and growing but I am still rooted to my roots as I know from where I come from. That’s the only difference.

There is nothing wrong having solid roots, sometimes I would love to have some but then it comes up this need to move away. I think we all look for ourselves, someone finds it in the past, some other in the unknown!
