Child Imagination

Imaginative play is when children use their imaginations and play without rules or structure. With this open-ended, unstructured play, kids can be anything they want, whether it’s a chef at a restaurant, a race car driver, astronaut or princess. There’s no limit to what a child can dream up during imaginative play.

Recently I saw Kyaraa, my daughter imagination through her drawings which I want to share with everyone of you.

In this picture Kyaraa is imagining herself in big garden playing with her dog Leo.

If you see this picture carefully – it’s family picture with portrait of our Guru (God father) in it and outside it… she also made one more( According to her he is invisible God father who can see and protect us but we can not see him but can only feel his presence in our life) I loved this imagination of her.

Kyaraa’s imagination as she runs her own boutique. If you notice the dialogues the thought bubble says – and written as that the boy is asking how much long it will take for shopping and the girl is replying 24 hour till six o’clock. She knows how much girls shop and she is trying to increase her business. I loved this storyboard.

I love what Kyaraa do, she really expresses herself well through her drawings. All children need to be truly creative is the freedom to commit themselves completely to the effort and make whatever activity they are doing their own. What’s important in any creative act is the process of self-expression.
